The Corporate Support Division reports to the Chief Legal and Corporate Support Officer. Headed by the Head of Corporate Support the divison provides services from, Electoral Registration and the  Registration of births, marriages and deaths.

Electoral Registration

The Electoral Registration Section incorporates the Services of The Electoral Register, Local Authority Searches, Commons, Village Greens and Corporate Complaints.  The Division provides the first contact point for all enquires regarding The Electoral Register and Local Authority Searches, and also carries out the duties of maintaining and updating the Electoral Register.

Local Authority Searches are carried out within several departments of the Authority where information is collated  in connection with the property being searched and returned to the Solicitors.   Common Searches are held in the office along with Common Maps.
