The Human Resources Division is a division of the Governance Directorate based at the Municipal Offices, Civic Centre, Ebbw Vale.
Reporting to the Chief People and Performance Officer the main role of the Division is to provide a comprehensive, Corporate Human Resource service, dealing with all employment related matters in the context of Statutory Legislation and the Authority’s approved Human Resource Policies and Procedures.
The Division provides a comprehensive service for all internal departments of the Authority with the exception of school based staff, which are the responsibility of the Community Services Directorate. The service provided to school based staff comprises of professional advice on the development and interpretation of corporate policies and procedures.
The service is headed by the Head of Human Resources and is organised into the following sections:
