Equalities

The role of Equalities involves promoting The Generic Equality Standard across the Authority. The Standard has been written to provide a comprehensive tool to enable Local Authorities to mainstream and benchmark their approach to equality practices in service delivery and employment.  It will provide a common approach for dealing with Race, Welsh Language, Gender and Disability ensuring that we can address our Legal obligations under Anti-discrimination Law.
