The Technical Services Division is situated at Baldwin House, Victoria Business Park, Ebbw Vale, and was created in April 2003 as a result of the restructuring of the former Department. It’s structure is based on the former consultancy division which comprised of architectural services, property maintenance and direct labour organisation and administrative support, aligned with elements of the former engineering services division, namely civil and structural engineering, transportation and traffic management.

The divisional key aim is to provide a technical unit that will allow our clients to enhance the quality of the built and natural environment within Blaenau Gwent for the improved quality of life of its residents.

The division is able to provide technical assistance to underpin the key objective of the Community plan by providing services to its clients such as, Forward planning, Design, Construction and Project Management.
