Within each unit specific targets have been set and these are listed below: -a) European, Economic and Planning Policy
This Section is the driving force behind the securing of external funding particularly from the European Objective One Programme and in the development of strategies and programmes to assist job creation.
- Development and monitoring of the Local Action Plan for the Objective One Partnership Board on behalf of Blaenau Gwent.
- Implementation of the Jobmatch Project.
- Development of initiatives to create local jobs from regeneration projects.
- Adoption of the Blaenau Gwent Unitary Development Plan.
