The newly formed Environmental Management & Highways Services Division is situated at the Central Depot, Brynmawr and is an amalgamation of the former Environmental Services Division and the frontline element of the Engineering Services Division. The division provides the following range of services:-

• Public Conveniences
• Impounding
• Fleet Management
• Markets
• Meals on Wheels Service
• Department Administration
• Procurement and Stores

The key strategic aims expressed in the Community plan from which the Division takes its direction are to provide a sustainable transport infrastructure and to protect and enhance the environment to meet the needs of present and future generations.
