Opportunities exist for an Assistant Contact Centre Supervisor at the Council’s multi-channel Connect to Blaenau Gwent Contact Centre (C2BG). The highly acclaimed Contact Centre provides a customer-focused response on a range of Council services to the people of Blaenau Gwent and other service users. Enquiries are made through multiple channels such as, face to face, telephone, e-mail, fax, Website and Web-chat.
The Successful candidate will be required to assist in the management of the contact centre and to be personally responsible for the supervision of contact centre staff. The post holder will be responsible for leading, developing and communicating with a significantly sized staff group and will work with the Contact Centre Manager to develop the practical application of contact centre technology, procedures and processes.
Successful candidates should have a sound working knowledge of MS Windows, CRM systems (or similar) environment. You will have excellent communication and team-working skills and experience of delivering customer-focused information and advice services.
The post carries an Essential Car User Allowance and therefore you should possess a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
